1984 Toyota Sunrader 18' class C motorhome in good working/running condition. We've had a lot of fun in this little RV and it's ready to go camping today! The Good: Cab and coach A/C work well. All cab gauges/signals/lights work. Brakes and parking brake work. Starts and runs well and has been absolutely dependable for us. 6 Hankook load range D (not the cheaper passenger class tires) tires in excellent shape and lots of tread left. We installed these when we bought the RV 7 years ago. All coach lights work (one by the upper bed is getting touchy). Additional LED lighting has been added. Range hood functional. Shower/toilet work with no leaks. Furnace works. Dometic fridge works on elec. or propane settings (see pic of ice in freezer). THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL FRIDGE PER THE FORMER OWNERS, WAS REPLACED NEW ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO. Stove top burners work. Original screen door still functional. 17mpg when fully loaded and carrying 2 adults and one large dog. No leaking around windows other than once for us: In a severe driving rain the window by the table and upper bed did show some water infiltration. After market cruise control added by prev. owner. After market am/fm cassette stereo with remote! Coach and cab speakers all work. Water system has no leaks. 22R 4 cyl, engine Manual transmission shifts smoothly We have some of the original information e.g. fridge and stove manuals, electrical system info, receipts for cruise control install and wheel bearing work completed 2003. The Bad: Oven does not work and didn't when we bought the RV. Water heater won't light as of last year. No pull out step when we bought it but we will include our homemade stairs. Upper bed window on driver side and large dinette window same side have leaked in very heavy rains. (added 8-3-15 as we had a huge storm last night and noted some leaking @ the upper bed window. None @ the dinette window.) The Ugly: A/C cover blew off 2 years ago. Former owner was pretty free with the caulk gun. One marker light missing the cover (see pic). This camper was originally a Texas vehicle and has never seen salt, hence NO RUST. Has been winterized every year and covered from the winter elements. Has the 5 lug axle. WINNING BIDDER: PLEASE NOTE PAYPAL DEPOSIT OF 1000.00 WITHIN 24 HRS OF AUCTION END. Winning bid is null and void if deposit not received as stated. Please don't waste our time or yours if you aren't a serious bidder. This is an AS IS Final Sale auction so please feel free to ask any questions or for more pics. We all know this is a 30 year old vehicle. There is no warranty implied by seller. We will be sad to see our Sunrader go but our loss will be your gain and we feel confident you'll love her as much as we have.

We are selling our Toyota Sunrader and it's absolutely stunning. I have gone over every single inch of this motorhome and either refinished or replaced all of it. We currently use it all the time and it has just traveled from Ketchikan Alaska to the Mexican border to Colorado without a single issue. It has 6 new industrial all terrain tires, new exhaust system, fresh tune up with plugs, cap, rotor, air filter, and oil service. You can jump in it right now and drive to the tip of Maine without hesitation. I have averaged 17 miles per gallon and one of the very best parts is that ALL of the other Toyota motorhomes came with a 13 gallon gas tank but mine comes with a 23 gallon tank so you have an extra 170 miles of range. I have taken a different Sunrader around the entire circumference of the United States and that small tank is a real pain to deal with, I can't even describe how nice it is to have the larger gas tank. Also I have really liked that it has a manual transmission because you can control the power much better and it really helps boost the gas mileage when you are in the mountains or around town. I've owned every kind of Toyota motorhome (except the Chinook:), and I believe the Sunrader to be the best... The fiberglass cap shell design prevents water damage or leaks and is incredibly strong. All of the other motorhomes leak and creak overtime and the corners of the other coaches rot because of the wood framing, not to mention the maintenance is significantly easier on the Sunrader because you aren't having to reseam-seal the roof every season. When I started the remodel of the interior, the inside was already really nice but very dated so I stripped everything off so it was down to just bare wood. Then I sanded everything and vacuumed and washed every surface so it was completely free of saw dust. Next, I painted 4 coats of primer and 4 coats of acrylic finish paint. Then I replaced every knob on the cupboards with new modern pulls and painted the insides of all the cabinets. To finished off the cabinetry I removed all the old chipped edging on the counter top and table and replaced it with brand new heat bonded edging so I would not come loose. I removed the old carpet and installed a full floating hard wood floor. To finish off the floor I installed quarter round on the edges and installed aluminum flashing on the transitions, now it looks great. I decided that the two front windows made it waaay too hot to sleep on the upper bunk because every morning the sun would come out and turn it into a tropical green house. I built a cover for the windows and carpeted the whole upstairs with wall carpet it looks like that's the way it came from the factory so I'm completely happy with the way it turned out. Now it stays much more comfortable and darker for sleeping. I finished off the upstairs with brand new sheets, pillows, and linens. I took off all the range hood, oven door and steel panels and painted all of them to match with a hammered steel paint and they also turned out wonderful. For the entry way I lowered the first step by 2 inches to give you a bit more head room and then installed 3/4 inch rubber over everything. This is the same rubber they use in horse trailers so it will never wear out. I finished the entry way by boxing in all the corners with aluminum to give it a classy and ultra durable finish. It even has a convenient light built into the step so you don't trip at night. I brought the cushions to a professional upholstery shop and had them refinished with an extremely durable and modern fabric so now it looks like a modern swanky apartment, I also took some of the same upholstery material and lined the face of the fridge so it matches the cushions. I removed all the old light coves and replaced all the old bulbs with new ones and also replaced all the light lenses with new ones. I serviced the water heater and I also just replaced the fresh water pump in the coach with a really high quality Surflo system and replaced the water valve on the toilet. I also serviced the high pressure water valve with new o-rings so it would not drain off the pressure in the system over night. We decided that the coach could use a little entertainment so I installed a 24 inch flat screen/ DVD player combo. Right now it only runs on shore power but if you hook up a small inverter you can run it off battery power as well. I also bought two brand new pioneer speakers and installed them in the back so you can enjoy better sound quality from the radio. These can easily be wired to plug right into the back of the TV for surround sound if you want. I decided to throw the old curtains away and sew new ones so I found some really high quality insulated light blocking curtains, then I cut and sewed them to fit the coach windows and replaced all the old cheap curtain rods with modern high quality rods. I removed the instructional sticker off the roof ac and repainted to match the interior, then replaced the sticker for a factory looking finish. The roof ac works great and looks great now. I have had quite a few Toyota motorhomes because we like to buy and restore one every summer and I can confidently say that this Sunrader is easily one of the best in the nation. I want just an easy cash sale so please no trades or checks of any kind. 1987 Toyota Sunrader. Only 88k miles. Sleeps 4. Everything works. 14 MPG Highway. Fridge, Stove, Oven, A/C, Heat, Hot water, Toilet, Shower, Sinks, Closet, Couch, Table. Runs great! Great camper for solo or small group trips. I bought it from a friend less than a year ago for a "snowbird" trip to Florida where I lived out of it on the road and at my destinations for several months. It's very comfortable to travel and live in! Now I'm settling back into life and looking for something more commuter friendly, so sadly the camper has to go. Your lucky day! It is with a heavy heart that I must sell my TOY. I am moving and can only take two vehicles, and unfortunately the TOY is not one of them. It's in excellent condition, has only 64,000 miles on it, and has been driven carefully and owned by senior citizens. I am the third owner, the first having had it for over 20 years and put only 40,000 miles on it. There are no rips, tears or stains. It has a new alternator and the tires are good. The rear axle has been fixed per the original problems some of the Sunraders had. The floor plan is the rear kitchen, middle couch with table and booth opposite, and the upper double bed, which I have replaced with a $500 memory foam mattress. This is a clean RV ready to take you on your adventures. We loved traveling in it. The gas mileage is great! It's perfect for a couple.

Relisting RV due to a non paying buyer. Selling this RV because my family and I are moving out of the country. Otherwise we would be keeping it if we were staying in the United States. The cost of the RV and all the upgrades alone cost me around $9,000. I am going to take a lost selling this RV but I need to sell it quickly. A lot of money and time has been put into this RV with the upgrades. The most expensive upgrades were the solar panel, solar battery, refrigerator, and new tires. With those upgrades alone it was around $2,000. The nice thing about this RV is if you can go to primitive camp sites where they have no running water or electricity. The solar panel charges the battery which runs the refrigerator, stereo, roof vent, water pump and lights. The heater and water heater run off propane. The plumbing has all been redone on the RV. The tires have less then 1,000 miles on them. The stereo in the rear of the RV sounds awesome. You can hook up your phone or anything that fits aux cable. More photos on the bottomSince there is so much to list. I am going to list the upgrades first and then the things missing or need repair after that. The RV has around 115,000 miles. The RV has a 22R engine which is one of the best Toyota engines out there. The RV is a 4 speed manual. There is a problem with the miles gauge for every mile you drive it actually records 10 miles. Really the RV has only around 110,000 to 111,000 miles on it. Here is a list of all the upgrades:New Heavy Duty Martin Crawler Clutch Kit & Flywheel installed $300Aisin Clutch Slave CylinderAisin Brake CylinderNew Seals- Rear Main Seal- Front Seal- Oil Pump Seal- Valve Cover SealNew timing chain cover gasket Oil Pan cleaned and resealed with new RTV black silconeNew Manifold Exhaust seal gasketDesmogged Engine- All new vacuum lines- EGR removed- Rebuilt Aisin CarbEngine Re-timed and Valve adjustmentNew Japanese Bearings and Seals on both front and rear wheelsNew Brake rear drums and front rotorsNew Brake PadsAll fluids have been replaced- Redline transmission and rear differential oilRoyal Purple Engine Oil and filterNew Brake fluidNew CoolantNew Spark Plugs & WireNew Distributor Cap and RotorNew Coolant ThermostatNew Heater ValveNew Heater CoreNew BatteryNew Windshield and gasketNew Stainless Steel Side view MirrorsAll windows resealed with butyl sealant- Back and front windows are dual pane.New Exhaust fan vent and bathroom ventNew special horizontal 20 gallon propane tank $180New high r value insulation on most of the camperBlack Tank has new seals and stainless steel supportsToilet has new sealsNew wirsbo aquapex plumbing- the best pex you can buyNew Suburban SW4P 3 gallon water heaterNew interior LED light bulbs Custom Speakers installed with ampCustom install of Olympian Wave 6 heater- $300 - real stone installed next to heater to keep feet warmNew Fantastic RV Roof Vent 8000 $130New Bathroom VentNew Custom Queen Size Mattress $150150 Watt solar panel on top $250Solar Battery SLR156 $270Engel SB70F Refrigerator $670New all Yokohama tires "Class D" $800Has 1/2 ton axle rear axle with upgraded rear wheel rims- I have talked to an RV mechanic from Elkhart, IN and he said it is not necessary to upgrade to the 1 ton axle on the 18 ft Sunrader with the upgraded rims. He has never had an issue with the upgraded rear wheel rims on the 18ft campers- The rear wheel rims are much more heavy duty then the stock ones which had an issue of the bolts coming loose and the wheels coming off. Here is a list of things that are missing or need to be fixed:The A/C doesn't work in the RV. The heater works in the front of the vehicle and also if you vent air from outside but no air conditioner for the front. I took a picture of something I made because I have two kids that seat in the back. The fans hooks up to the cigarette lighter in the front and blows cold air if you fill with ice. The last photo shows a photo of it.The stove top works but the oven does not. In my opinion, you really don't need an oven for camping. The lights on the floor by the side of the door do not work. (third photo down)The windshield washer pumps needs to be replaced. I just changed the wiper blades. The mileage doesn't read correctly when driving. The speedometer works fine just not the mileage. Also the gas gauge is a little off on the readings. There is some minor rust and some areas that may need to be repainted inside.

Here's your ticket to the untamed wilderness...or the beach camp out. This baby is all-original, like a time capsule from 1981. To match this car you'll have to grow a Burt Reynolds mustache and dust off those Tom Cruise sunglasses you've got in your closet. Yeah, you know which ones. She runs like she's happy, with recent tune-up just completed. And yes, this is a low-mileage 22R motor, as in the legendary 22R motor, with 59,000 miles on the odometer. Would it be inappropriate to point out that this car will be around long after we're reincarnated as one of the grasshoppers waiting to get squished on its windshield?I have all the maintenance records, and original owner's manual and brochures. FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: 1985 Sunrader Silverada TD, CG 21ft Micro Mini Motor Home (Class C) on a Toyota Truck Chassis with a 2.5L (22RE) I-4 Fuel Injected engine and automatic trans with overdrive. This unit has a Rear Bathroom, Center Kitchen/Dinette and a Front Over-cab Queen sized Bed. Sleeps up to 4. TRUCK CHASSIS: Has 6 new tires with less than 1000 miles on them. Recent new battery. Rebuilt Transmission (2014) has less than 1000 miles on it. Cold Truck cab air conditioner. It has rear air cushion ride, an in-dash AM/FM radio with cassette player. Has CB Radio (condition unknown). At one time it had Cruise Control but previous Owner/Owners rendered it inoperable (parts removed). Everything else with the truck chassis checks out good. Runs great and gets good gas mileage (17.4 mpg last time I checked it). It has the 6-lug 1-ton rear floating axle. SMOG exempt in Texas! TRUCK REPAIRS: Manifold gasket replaced (07/11/2015). Steering Box replaced (11/24/2014). Transmission rebuilt and oil pan gasket replaced (02/19/2014 at 222240 miles). Compression test on engine checked good and replaced #3 Fuel Injector (12/26/2014). Oil & Filter changed (07/2015). RV EXTERIOR: All of the front, rear and side marker lights have been replaced with new LED style lights. A new entry door step has been installed. Roof Top Air Conditioning unit is in very good condition and keeps the interior cool during the hottest part of a Texas summer day. Previous owner resealed all of the windows (sloppy job) and painted the front windows black. RV INTERIOR: The interior of the RV has been completely remodeled. Every thing on the inside is new excepting the Microwave and the Electric Refrigerator of which both work fine. I gutted the cabin and began anew with NEW insulation and paneling (on the walls and ceiling). NEW underlayment and Tile on floor. All NEW 12 volt lighting and 110 volt duplex outlets. The bathroom has a NEW toilette, a NEW tub with shower and NEW exhaust fan. The kitchen has a NEW euro-style two burner LP Stove with NEW vent hood, a NEW sink, all NEW counter-top and cabinets. All NEW combination table/bed with NEW top that matches counter-tops and benches with NEW cushion covers. The Cab-over sleeping area has been reinforced with new plywood and the cushions have NEW covers. A NEW On-demand style LP hot water heater with electric (D cell battery) ignition has been installed. All NEW water plumbing done with Pex Pipe. A NEW water pump. A NEW 1500 watt electric heater installed for those chilly nights. A NEW Monitor panel with pump switch and all new sensors on tanks. (Two (2) panels, one installed and the other a spare. Both of which do not show tank info but pump switch works.) Set up to run on Shore Power or an Electric Generator. Has wiring for Auxilary Battery but one has not been installed. The interior height of the cabin is 5' 10" except under the air conditioning unit where it is 5' 7", so if you are tall (as I am) you will have to be careful not to bump your head. OTHER: Have over $12,500 (purchase price plus all repairs). Need to sell it and try to recoup some of my investment. GENERAL: Vehicle is sold "As Is - Where Is". There is no Warranty Expressed or Implied for this Vehicle.
